Trivia[]
- Kotaro does not physically appear in this episode, appearing only briefly when Kenichi calls for him after finding out he went missing.
- In this episode, the scene where Zoffy’s head catches fire after being attacked by Baldon was locally referred to in Japan as "Mister Fire Head" and "Captain Fire Head."
- In reality, this was a deliberately staged effect, with Baldon’s action of throwing Zoffy into the lake also intended to achieve the planned extinguishing effect. To prepare for any potential issues, the production team had approximately 10 fire extinguishers on standby.
- Although it appears to be a simple head-on-fire scene, the materials used for the head did not actually burn due to their properties. As a workaround, the crew applied gauze, painted in the same silver as the head, using glue and then soaked it with kerosene to ignite it. After extinguishing the fire, remnants of charred fibers from the gauze can be observed on Zoffy’s head.
