History[]

Return of Ultraman[]

Yuriko Oka HD 001

Oka's first appearance.

Oka is the only female member of MAT's Japan branch. She is primarily responsible for communications within the team and does not usually participate in reconnaissance or patrol missions. However, during strategy meetings, she often provides unique and effective tactics and ideas that help the team break through deadlocks. In actual missions, she also joins other members in action.

She holds a fourth-degree black belt in kendo and is skilled in judo, tea ceremony, flower arrangement, and playing the shamisen. This makes her perform as well as her male teammates in combat situations. Although she is considered a calm and confident professional woman, she also has a rather conservative side.

On the day of a total solar eclipse, while Oka and Hideki Go Release date were admiring the phenomenon from the balcony, a woman named Junko appeared. She told the two of them that something significant might happen. After mentioning the disappearance of the Big Dipper around the North Star, she vanished before them. Go observed a meteor falling from the direction of the constellation Cancer towards the mountains and decided to investigate. The director of the astronomical observatory mentioned that the stars had suddenly disappeared since the day before. Meanwhile, Oka was searching for Junko on the streets. She learned Junko's address from her father and visited her room.

Oka was searching for Junko's whereabouts in the town.

When she saw Junko, Oka noticed Junko tearing petals apart while speaking incoherently, "The Big Dipper has been swallowed, and Cancer is also about to be swallowed. Cancer is my constellation. It hurts so much, my head feels like it's splitting." The woman screamed and then fainted. Due to the unusual events, MAT speculated that the monster Zanika, found within the meteor, originated from the Cancer constellation. They also believed that another monster might be lurking in space, feeding on one planet after another.

Upon hearing Junko's mention of the "Dark Monster," Oka and Go hurried back to the Astronomical Research Institute. The director of the institute observed a massive dark object and expressed concern, saying, "This could be the Earth's final day." Vacuumon, possessing immense gravitational force, was rapidly approaching Earth at an alarming speed. It was estimated to arrive within 12 hours, posing a potential threat of Earth's destruction.

As Zanika began to rampage on Earth, MAT launched attacks from the ground, but Go found himself cornered by the monster. In that critical moment, he transformed into Ultraman Jack and engaged in battle against Zanika. The two confronted each other as the sun began to set. However, Zanika seemed to be communicating something. After making a firm decision, Ultraman flew off into space. Oka explained, "Ultraman is heading to intercept the Dark Monster approaching Earth."

Ultraman found himself immobilized within Vacuumon's body, but he used his Ultra Bracelet to create a hole inside the monster's body, ultimately thwarting Vacuumon's movements. Dark Monster Spit out the Stars!

Oka was attacked by Minami and Ueno, who were controlled by Alien Nackle. She managed to escape with the help of base soldiers.

Shortly thereafter, Alien Nackle, aiming to invade Earth, trained Black King and devised a plan to eliminate Ultraman and MAT. After defeating Ultraman, he demanded unconditional surrender from MAT within 12 hours. Captain Ryu Ibuki suspected the enemy's whereabouts to be in Tokyo and ordered the retrieval of the stolen weapon "Saturn Z." Several male members were dispatched to the Space Radio Research Institute but fell victim to Alien Nackle's mental manipulation, becoming unwitting tools. When Alien Nackle instructed Takeshi Minami and Ippei Ueno to execute the uncontrolled Oka, she managed to escape their pursuit with great difficulty and fled alone outside the base.

When the surviving Go returned to the base, being escorted for execution by all brainwashed members, Oka shouted loudly to him from outside the base, revealing that everyone was being controlled by aliens. Go and Oka fought together, knocking down the members, freeing them from Alien Nackle's control. When the Ultra Star Shines

One day, at MAT headquarters, all members except Captain Ibuki and Oka, who was in charge of communications, all other team members were out on patrol duty. However, the Mat Arrow 1, piloted by Go and Minami, suddenly lost control. Amidst the chaos, Go attempted to contact headquarters, but for some reason, communication couldn't be established. Go and the others decided to maneuver the Mat Arrow 1 to the sea off the coast of Izu and escape using parachutes, just before the aircraft exploded.

Fumio Kishida and Ueno, members of the team in contact with Go and others, returned to base. It turned out that the reason Go and the others lost contact with headquarters was because Oka accidentally closed the communication switch. Captain Ibuki advised Oka to be more careful next time and arranged for Ueno to assist with communication at headquarters. He himself went with Kishida to search for Go and Minami.

As night fell, Captain Ibuki was unable to find them and determined that continuing the search had become too difficult, so he contacted Ueno and Oka to prepare for their return. However, on what should have been a clear flight path, a passenger plane suddenly appeared. Captain Ibuki narrowly avoided a collision with the plane at the last moment. Upon returning to base and investigating the cause, they discovered it was because Oka had turned off the radar switch, which prevented them from detecting the passenger plane.

Oka was ordered to take a leave of absence by the captain due to several mistakes made at work, but in reality, she was actually possessed by Femigon.

Oka did not realize that she had turned off the switch and felt guilty. As a result, Captain Ibuki ordered Oka to take a month's leave. However, shortly after, a monster named Femigon appeared at a petrochemical plant at night. The remaining three MAT members went out to fight the monster, but Femigon suddenly disappeared. After returning to the base, although Captain Ibuki and the others knew that Oka was on leave, they found it strange that Oka, who was always very responsible, did not return to duty even when reports of the monster's appearance spread across Japan.

Concerned that something might have happened to Oka, Captain Ibuki called her home. At that moment, Oka was wandering the streets of Shinjuku and returned home in a daze. Her mother noticed that Oka had an inexplicable smell of petroleum on her.

Go and Minami managed to swim to shore. However, they found themselves drifting to Chiba. At this moment, Femigon appeared. To confront it, MAT also rushed to the scene. Go transformed into Ultraman, rescued Ueno, whose Mat Arrow 1 was on fire after being hit, and began to fight. Ultraman struggled to deal with Femigon's biting attacks and sharp spines. However, Femigon fled towards MAT's underwater base. In the end, Ultraman successfully defeated Femigon underwater.

Femigon released its possession of Oka.

On the shore, Captain Ibuki and the others found Oka collapsed and discovered a white, glowing entity separating from her. It turned out that Oka had been controlled by an extraterrestrial life form and transformed into Femigon. Ultimately, she was successfully rescued by her teammates. The Targeted Woman

During the final battle, she and the other members resisted Zetton II's attacks. At that moment, Alien Bat, upon realizing that MAT was not at the base, attacked the MAT headquarters, causing all the core nuclear reactors of the facility to be destroyed. While Go piloted the Mat Arrow 1 to attack Zetton II, Oka and Captain Ibuki went to the stadium to rescue the kidnapped Jiro Sakata and Rumiko Murano. However, Alien Bat grew to a giant size. Go transformed into Ultraman and continued the fight.

With the help of MAT, Ultraman launched a counterattack. After an intense battle, he successfully defeated Alien Bat and Zetton II. Although MAT triumphed over their formidable foes, Go disappeared. All the MAT members mourned for Go at the shore before leaving the scene. The 5 Ultra Oaths
