"She always smiles like that because she suffered lot more than anyone."
- ―Professor Fujisawa told about Misaki

As a professional, Misaki exhibits an extremely calm and cautious personality. She possesses a meticulous nature and exceptional professional integrity. However, her composure doesn't equate to a lack of emotion. She often incorporates team members' opinions, flexibly adjusting battle plans. This thoughtful communication showcases her openness and wisdom as a leader. Additionally, despite her high-ranking position, Misaki occasionally reveals an unexpected youthful vitality, displaying lively traits matching her age. In her work, she remains professional and resolute, unaffected by personal emotions.
In reality, she frequently conceals the inner emotions behind her strong exterior, suppressing her own stress and sense of duty. This may be a manifestation of her dedication to her responsibilities, while also highlighting the pressure she silently bears within. Therefore, Misaki always wears a smile. Whether in pain, sadness, encouraging others, or herself, she continues to smile. What she truly wishes to protect is everyone's smiles.
Due to her outstanding performance at work and occasional displays of gentleness, she has earned high praise from her similarly-aged teammates. They affectionately refer to her as "Miss Misaki," showcasing her prestige and respected position within the team.
Furthermore, as the only person aware of Director Sakomizu's true identity, Misaki holds a special sentiment towards him, akin to a "profound affection like that towards a father."
History[]
Pre-Ultraman Mebius[]
During her time in middle school, Misaki formed a deep friendship with Asami Fujisawa. As Asami recalled, when her parents fell ill, Misaki was always there by her side, offering encouragement and uplifting her spirits during moments of despair, fostering a positive outlook and the belief that everything would improve. This experience solidified their friendship and they maintained a close bond into adulthood.
In high school, Misaki was identified by the upper echelons of GUYS for her outstanding abilities, quickly making a name for herself and becoming a rising star despite her young age. She rose to become a top-tier member of the organization, holding a prominent position as the second-in-command of GUYS.
Given that the Director Sakomizu was frequently absent due to specific circumstances, she, under the director's instructions, effectively acted as the de facto leader of GUYS JAPAN, temporarily assuming the responsibilities of acting director. This role made her one of the few individuals within the organization who knew about the director's background, and her unique status within the organization has exposed her to numerous insider secrets.
Not long ago, through the director, she learned about Ultraman Mebius appearing on Earth in his human form, "Mirai Hibino," and subsequently orchestrated his involvement within GUYS.
Ultraman Mebius[]
Upon her initial appearance, she reported to Toriyama, notifying him that a creature with the codename "Dinosaur" was approaching Earth. GUYS units from various countries had received orders to engage in combat. After the destruction of the V77 satellite, She informed Toriyama that the subsequent response missions were entrusted to GUYS JAPAN.A Fateful Encounter
Subsequently, Misaki played a pivotal role as the organizational representative of GUYS throughout the series, holding a significant position among various responsibilities. One of her primary roles was to explain the strategies and operational details for combating monsters to the team. Not only could she clearly understand and convey plan details during negotiations with GUYS units from different countries, but she also ensured that every team member comprehended their roles and responsibilities.
In addition to her work at the base, Misaki often conducted field inspections herself. These on-site assessments allowed her to gain a deeper understanding of the behavioral patterns of the countermeasure monsters, environmental factors, and the practical circumstances of the team members. She accurately formulated battle strategies and adjusted them as the situation evolved. While her proposals might face criticism or questioning from team members in certain situations, in reality, she often meticulously considered every decision behind the scenes, selecting the most advantageous course of action for the team's success.
Furthermore, in her role as acting director, she regularly wrote reports to keep the director informed of ongoing developments.
However, due to the significant age difference between her and Toriyama, their dynamic resembled that of a father-daughter relationship. When Toriyama faced setbacks in her presence, despite Misaki's rational and polite admonishments, Toriyama often felt self-conscious, as if being scolded by his own daughter.
During an inspection of the "Hameln Project," as a high-ranking member of GUYS, she and Toriyama were invited to visit the project. Prior to this, she criticized Toriyama for not keeping the METEOR news confidential. To avoid Misaki, Toriyama pretended to have a stomachache and requested Maru to go to the research facility on his behalf. Coincidentally, just before departing, Misaki and the director were discussing plans for a meeting at headquarters next month. However, this situation led Maru to misunderstand, causing him to leave the scene during his observation at the research center, attempting to locate the director around the facility.
Due to Arstron's interference by Kelbim's transferred frequency waves, going to the research center caused damage. Misaki noticed that Maru hadn't evacuated with the others, so she stayed inside the building to look for him. As a result, both of them became trapped in the ruins caused by the impact of Arstron.
Feeling guilty, Maru apologized to Misaki. She clarified that Maru had misunderstood what he overheard unintentionally. Once she understood Maru's true intentions, she decided to create an opportunity to appease Toriyama. After the incident concluded, she deliberately arranged for Toriyama to visit the director's office. Revealing the information given by the director to them, she successfully fulfilled Toriyama's wish.Connecting Message
In the early stages of the series, to assist in concealing Mirai's true identity, she told a lie to all the members of GUYS. She claimed that the reason Mirai knew Hiroto Ban was because they both belonged to a generation born in space, and the two of them had known each other for a long time in the past.Future Days
"As challenging situations arise, Misaki maintains a resilient attitude, offering encouragement to her team members. In a report regarding the dimensional anomaly event in Nanazawa City that resulted in the invasion of Earth by Terrible-Monsters, she mentioned that GUYS had already received and studied the structure of interdimensional matter, enabling the semi-permanent prevention of Terrible-Monsters from entering Earth. To achieve this objective, she invited Asami, now a physicist, to participate in the development project of METEOR.
Nevertheless, Misaki headed to the hangar and approached Araiso, expressing her hope that he could take care of GUYS' personnel. She believed that "Flight Mode is GUYS' trump card, making this mission even more perilous than before." She didn't wish for any team member to sacrifice during this mission, but Araiso countered, hoping that she could bestow greater trust upon the members.
When Misaki, Asami, and Sakomizu departed from the METEOR research facility, they encountered an attack by Yapool, which dispatched Verokron to assail them. In order to shield them from danger, Sakomizu utilized a spatial limiter to contain Verokron. Unfortunately, before the containment process concluded, Verokron's missile critically wounded him, leading to his subsequent coma.
As the GUYS team collectively expressed the desire to employ the Flight Mode of the Phoenix Nest for the task of eliminating Verokron, Misaki reminded them that exclusive authority over the Flight Mode rested with Sakomizu. She declined the proposition of forcefully activating the Flight Mode, underscoring the considerable risks it entailed. Nevertheless, prior to departing the base, she reassured the team members that she was steadfast in preventing any member from becoming a sacrificial pawn.
While she had contemplated activating the Flight Mode on her own, under the persuasion of her teammates and Araiso, she ultimately changed her mind and decided to assign the final mission of eradicating the Terrible-Monsters to the members. After witnessing Sakomizu's recovery and the defeat of Verokron by the GUYS members, she regained a profound understanding of the value of "fighting together as a team."
In the conclusion of the report, she wrote, "Director, today I was with the most outstanding team and mission. This is what you meant by 'your smile will become hope for others.' But I've realized that their existence is the result of my smile, and I am immensely proud to protect the Earth together with them." When addressing the "Director," she added the endearing term "dear," expressing her profound affection for him.Flying to Tomorrow
When Konomi had plans for a date, Mirai and Ryu visited Misaki seeking her assistance. They hoped that she could help ensure the success of the date arrangement. Since Misaki didn't have any other commitments in the afternoon, she readily agreed. Subsequently, Misaki, along with Mirai and Konomi, headed to the shopping center for a shopping trip. Their goal was to prepare for Konomi's makeover and outfit transformation for the upcoming date.Konomi's Treasure
Before the final battle with Alien Empera, Misaki revealed to the entire team that Sakomizu was actually the head of GUYS. She explained the reason behind Sakomizu's hidden identity, which was that he had taken on the role of on-site commander in the battles.Advent of the Emperor -Final Trilogy I-
