Yoko and Shunichi have a son named Tsugumu. Unfortunately, Tsugumu suffers from a congenital blood disorder, and the doctor told her, "if he gets sick again, he won't live until his next birthday." At the same time, because Shunichi is a pilot of the Air Self-Defense Force, after participating in the funeral of her husband's colleague, she also worried about the safety of her husband and son because she was concerned about risks.
When Tsugumu fell ill for the first time and got sent to the hospital, she told Junyi in the waiting room: "Tsugumu needs to have him by his side," this incident also became the reason that forced Shunichi to make up his mind to retire.
When Shunichi was taken away by Sara, Shunichi fell into a coma due to emotional fatigue and was sent to the hospital again.
