Yasue Sawaguchi is one of the supporting characters of Ultraman Cosmos. She is a scientist at the Research Center of SRC.

Sawaguchi is an old friend of Hiura. Despite having known each other for a long time, she maintained a platonic relationship with Hiura. They were once very close, but their differing personalities caused them to break up, with her perfectionist attitude unable to cope with his opinion that her inventions were too perfect. Also, she is a talented scientist who joined the SRC when it got founded. Many of the inventions or devices she developed are also the basis of today's SRC devices. Her stern behavior earned the nickname "Ms. Lightning" by Musashi.
As the story progresses, Sawaguchi encounters Ghighi Doctor XX01 while conducting a teleportation experiment. After the battle, she, together with Hiura, watched the other party leave and bid farewell. Ghighi vs Gon
