Recently I discovered some bad news regarding UMC/Ultramega's ongoing attempts to produce more illegally licensed Ultraman merch.
In mid-2023, UM Corporation licensed Alpha Audley to produce Ultraman merch. It starts off with Infinity Nado Sword products with Ultraman theme.
(Note: Infinity Nado is a chinese animated franchise inspired by Beyblade, created by Alpha Audley Group of China, the most recent entry is revolving around sword themed launchers)
What have you done Alpha???
I assume these products are successful in the market considering Alpha Audley is a very popular brand internationally. And then they created Ultraman Fidget spinners...
And in the end of the year (2023), there is a new announcement regarding UMC's collaboration with Alpha Audley that looks like this. It's possible they're attempting to expand the whole plan, this makes me speculating whether Alpha Audley would end up creating a new bootleg ultraman worse than that of Bluearc's Ultraman...
What do they mean by those silhouettes around UMC Seven?
So far as we know, there are no new information regarding Tsuburaya/SCLA's attempts to bring Alpha Audley & UMC to a legal battle. I wish Tsuburaya & SCLA could win in the battle someday.
