Ultraman Rumble 2: Heroes Arena is a fighting video game created for iOS and Android, developed by DWEB and licensed by UM Corporation (UMC). It is the sequel to Ultraman Rumble and is the second game in the Ultraman Rumble series.
Gameplay[]
Start Menu[]
Players start off with the original Ultraman, and each character after that is unlockable with coins. With coins obtained from battle, players can upgrade their characters special abilities. With EXP obtained from battle, characters can level up and unlock more special abilities e.g. the Ultra Barrier and Impact+ abilities unlock for Ultraman at level 4.
In addition to the standard character select menu, players can now obtain more coins from completing missions during waves. A variety of stages can also be selected, each with their own boss character.
Battle[]
Similar to its predecessor, the Ultras are controlled by a small red circle for movement, with four different attacks on the right: kick, punch, roll and their special attack. Different enemies have different powers, and defeated enemies drop coins and orbs to replenish your character's HP and SP.
This game introduces a buddy system: during any wave, an ally character will appear to assist you in battle. Every ten waves, a boss enemy character will appear, with their own special abilities e.g. the Alien Baltan boss can duplicate itself.
After clearing every stage or losing to a wave, EXP gained will contribute to the player character's leveling system.
