Ultraman Precious Stage: Dad Is Ultraseven ～ Until I Can Go Beyond His Big Back is a stage show and second entry in the Ultraman Precious Stage series. It has been held numerous times since 2011 in many locations, with the plot and characters varying each time.

For the 2016 Miyazaki performances, an Ultra Song Live featuring Japanese singer Ryoji Tokito was held beforehand. A day before the 2016 Okinawa performances, a special event featuring Kohji Moritsugu, Hiroko Sakurai, Yoichi Komori and Tatsuya Maeda was held. Before the 2019 Saga performances, a voyager Live event was held.

The stage show's final set of performances in April 2019 also served as the 31st and final entry of the Ultra Hero Battle Theater! series.

NOTE: The synopsis, plot, appearances and cast below pertain to the 2019 Saga performances.

Synopsis

Tatsuya finds comfort in watching the Ultraman Series when his workaholic father has no time to spend with him, so the young boy is overjoyed when the Ultra Heroes are brought into his world. But the mysterious stranger who granted his wish has bigger plans.

Home Media

A DVD of one of the 2019 Saga performances was released on June 7, 2019. Those who reserved the DVD at the Saga and Miyazaki venues were also given a photo postcard. The DVD was also available early during the 2019 Hakuhinkan Theater performances from April 5 to April 7 and Ultra Heroes EXPO New Generation World in Okinawa from April 27 to May 6.

Trivia

• In 2011, the son was simply called "Me" , becoming "Son" from 2016, and finally being named "Tatsuya" from 2018 onwards.
• The father and son are played by different actors in each version of the show.
  • The son was played by Misaki Beppu in the 2016 Okinawa performances.
• For the 2018 and 2019 performances, the "Ultraman Live" part of the logo is reused from the Ultraman Live: Peace of the Earth logo.
• Although promotional materials showcased Belial as Kaiser Belial until 2019, he appeared without the cape, red eyes and scar in most performances.
• In the 2019 performances, RE.M.'s lines at the beginning of the show are reused from Ultra Heroes EXPO 2018 Battle Stage.
• The Alien Magma in the 2019 Saga performances is portrayed using the Malba/Magma Eldest Son suit from Ultraman Festival 2018 Live Stage Part 2, though it is unclear whether he is the same individual.

Performance Differences

• In the 2011 performances:
  • Robot Nozomi appeared, a Japanese street performer who was also in other Ultraman Precious Stage entries.
• In the 2012 Ishigaki performances:
  • Zoffy did not appear.
  • Darklops Zero started to appear in all subsequent performances.
• From the 2016 Miyazaki performances onwards:
  • Ultraman X started appearing.
  • Ultraman Ace stopped appearing.
• In the 2016 Okinawa performances:
  • Ultraman, Ultraman Mebius and Ultraman Tiga appeared instead of Zoffy and Leo.
  • Ultraman X used his Exceed X form.
• From the 2018 Kochi performances onwards:
  • Ultraman Geed started appearing, with the story greatly altered to focus on his relationship with his father, Belial.
  • Ultraman Orb started appearing.
  • Ultraman Zero started using his Zero Beyond form.
  • voyager began to perform at all performances.
• From the 2019 Saga performances onwards:
  • The characters were voiced by their actors from the TV series.
  • Ultraman Ruebe started appearing.
  • Geed started using his Royal Megamaster form.
• In the 2019 Hakuhinkan Theater performances:
  • Ultraman Nice explained the rules at the beginning.
  • The performances were mostly the same as the 2019 Saga ones, but with small variations in the plot and action scenes.
