Ultraman Kids Proverb Stories (ウルトラマンキッズのことわざ物語, Urutoraman Kizzu no Kotowaza Monogatari) is a television anime series that aired on the TBS network in 1986. It is a televised adaptation of the Ultraman Kids series, initiated by Tsuburaya Productions in the 1980s, consisting of 26 episodes.

Synopsis[]

Somewhere in the universe lies "Planet M7.8", where the children of Ultraman and monsters live happily together. The energetic leader, a boy named Maa, the kind-hearted girl Piko, the troublemaking Bal and his sidekick Gutsun, along with other familiar companions, embark on exciting adventures in this cute anime.

This series focuses on parents and children as the main audience, aiming to provide entertainment through various situations and dramas portrayed by the characters while learning Japanese proverbs.

On September 4, 2015, TC Entertainment released the DVD-BOX of this series. It is divided into three volumes, with the third volume containing episodes 25 and 26, which were not broadcast on television.[1]

Trivia[]

  • This is currently the last Ultraman Series TV series being aired on the TBS channel. At that time, due to controversies related to Ultraman 80, there was a conflict between the management of TBS and Tsuburaya Productions. However, with the efforts of a sympathetic producer from TBS towards Tsuburaya Productions, this series was able to be aired.
