Ultraman Decker Finale: Journey to Beyond is a movie that follows Ultraman Decker, set after the series finale. The movie premiered in theaters and on TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION and Ultraman Connection simultaneously on February 23, 2023.[1][2][3]
Synopsis[]
A peculiar sound echoes through the sky. Those who hear it faint, and eventually vanish.
Expert team GUTS-Select investigate but are met with attacks from an alien army and a pitch black mobile fortress, Zorgaus, piloted by Professor Gibellus who seeks to rule the skies of Earth. As Kanata and crew find themselves in trouble, a mysterious woman who knows Gibellus suddenly appears. The woman, Dinas, possesses a mysterious power. With her “duty to protect,” Dinas and GUTS-Select work together to foil the evil scheme, but a barbaric “Emperor Beast” appears and casts a shadow over the events. Kanata, Dinas, and GUTS-Select begin an all-out battle to decide the fate of the Earth and entire galaxy![2]

Asia Tour[]
To commemorate the Asian theatrical and streaming release of Ultraman Decker Finale: Journey to Beyond and to promote the upcoming Ultraman Blazar, Tsuburaya Productions announced the Ultraman Decker Final Tour: Journey to Blazar on June 9, 2023. The tour featured cast appearances and special events across multiple Asian regions.[10][11]
- Indonesia: An exhibition and stage setup were held from June 9 to June 11 at Gandaria City Mall in Jakarta, with cast appearances on June 10 and June 11 featuring Raiga Terasaka. A special live performance featuring Ultraman Trigger and Ultraman Blazar was also held. The event was organized in collaboration with RTV Indonesia.[12][13]
- Taiwan: A premiere event was held on June 10 at MUVIE CINEMA in Taipei, attended by Hiroki Matsumoto, Yuka Murayama, and Kayano Nakamura.[14] A special live performance featuring Ultraman Blazar was also held. The event was organized in collaboration with Beast Kingdom. Additionally, a limited-time pop-up store and a meet-and-greet session were arranged to promote the film.[15]
- Malaysia: An exhibition and stage setup were held from June 10 to July 2 at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre in Kuala Lumpur, with cast appearances on June 25 featuring Hiroki Matsumoto, Raiga Terasaka, and Yuka Murayama. The event was organized in partnership with Astro Malaysia, Lalaport Kuala Lumpur and One Universal Production.[16] A pop-up store and a meet-and-greet session were also included as part of the promotion.[17]
- Hong Kong: The premiere event was held on June 22 at Olympian City, featuring Kayano Nakamura.[18] A special live performance with Ultraman Dinas and Ultraman Blazar took place. The event was organized in collaboration with Neofilms.
- Thailand: An exhibition and stage setup took place from June 23 to July 2 at Fashion Island Mall in Bangkok, with cast appearances on July 1 featuring Hiroki Matsumoto and Raiga Terasaka.[19] The event was organized in collaboration with DEX. The cast members also appeared on Channel 7HD to promote the film.[20]
Home Media[]
The film was released on DVD and Blu-ray on July 28, 2023. The Blu-ray also contains promotional events and trailers, an interview with Yuka Murayama, Sae Miyazawa and Kayano Nakamura, an audio commentary by the cast, and the miniseries GUTS-SELECT Meeting Records ～Return of Special Section 3～.[21][22]
