Ultraman: Monster Movie Feature is a 1967 Japanese tokusatsu kaiju film consisting of re-edited material from the original television series Ultraman, directed by Hajime and Eiji Tsuburaya and produced by Tsuburaya Productions and Toho.[1]
Overview[]
Episodes 1, 8, and 26-27 of Ultraman were used for the film. They were narrated by Hikaru Urano as an "Ultraman Documentary". Allegedly, only one new scene was shot. Also, some parts of the movie were shot in black and white for unknown reasons. The movie was screened at the same time as the Toho movie King Kong Escapes.

Home Media[]
It was released on DVD in Japan in 2006 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Ultraman Series. The movie was re-released in a box set containing all of the Showa Ultraman Series shows to commemorate the 45th anniversary of Ultraman.
