Ultraman: Hikari no Kuni no Shisha is a 2001 Ultraman handheld game. The game is very similar to Ultraman, a Super Famicom game which itself is similar to the Ultraman Game Boy game.

Plot

Like the three Ultraman games titled of the same name, this game follows the Ultraman series' plot.

Gameplay

Instead of just a story mode, this version of the Ultraman games has 4 modes. These are:

• Story Mode
• Battle Mode
• Training Mode
• Option

Story Mode

In this mode, it follows the story of the Ultraman series with monsters and stages from the three same titled Ultraman games. Although, in this game, it lets you continue and restart your playthrough and has cutscenes.

Battle Mode

A mode which lets two players fight using characters in the game. One can choose a monster while the other player will play as Ultraman. The player who chooses a monster can also choose Ultraman to be the character.

Trivia

• Gabora and Jamila's names are referred to be named as Gavora and Jamilar respectively in the game.
