Ultra Zero Fight (ウルトラゼロファイト, Urutora Zero Faito) is a miniseries featuring Ultraman Zero, who gained new forms after his fusion with Ultraman Dyna and Ultraman Cosmos in Ultraman Saga. The series is split into two parts, which first aired as 3 minute episodes at the end of Ultraman Retsuden episodes 57-64 and episodes 76-91 respectively. Each short was available on YouTube a week later for a limited time.[1] Director's cut versions of the two parts were also released on DVD and aired during episodes of New Ultraman Retsuden.

Starting on March 20, 2020, Tsuburaya Productions rebroadcasted the series on YouTube to celebrate Ultraman Zero's tenth anniversary.

Production[]

Leading up to the series' airing, the official Ultraman Retsuden blog revealed appearing voice actors and kaiju.[2][3] It was also announced the cinematography would be led by Shinji Tomita (Garo, Ultraman Zero vs Darklops Zero).

The first part aired in August 2012, during Ultraman Retsuden's "Zero Festival", featuring the Ultra Galaxy Legends movie and the Killer the Beatstar DVD special. Zero's new form Luna-Miracle Zero has super agility and a strong heart of love from Ultraman Dyna's Miracle Type and Ultraman Cosmos's Luna Mode respectively, while Strong-Corona Zero has the full combat strength of Ultraman Dyna's Strong Type and Ultraman Cosmos's Corona Mode.
