For the Ultra counterpart to this line, please go to Ultra Hero 500.
Ultra Monster 500
was a toyline created by Bandai, which consisted of 5.5 inch (14 cm) figures of monsters and aliens from the Ultra Series. Each of the figures had a stamp on their left foot and were compatible with the DX Ginga Spark, Victory Lancer, X Devizer, and other related roleplay items. The series was later rebranded as Ultra Monster Series with the Live Sign removed to reflect changes in the toyline, making it a spiritual successor of the discontinued original Ultra Monster Series toyline.
The Ultra Hero Series is also part of the Ultra Sofvi Series
.
NOTE: Keep in mind that this wiki will mark them as Ultra Monster Series (500)/(2016) on their individual pages for specifications' sake. |
Pricing[]
When the Ultra Monster 500 series was first launched during the run of Ultraman Ginga in 2013, figures were priced at 500 yen each. Due to inflation and the rising costs of raw materials, price revisions have been made to the toyline over the years. The first price revision comes with the removal of the Live Sign and the transition to the Ultra Monster Series name.

Trivia[]
- As a general rule of thumb, Evil and Imitation Ultras are released as Ultra Monster 500 figures, and not as part of the Ultra Hero 500 lineup.
- This is with the exception of characters like Ultraman Dark and Tiga Dark, who are the "corrupted" dark forms of the respective heroes, and reformed anti-heroes like Trigger Dark.
- Starting from 2017, selected Ultra Monster DX figures received newly molded re-releases in the standard Ultra Monster Series line.
- Starting from 2023, some previously released figures, like Ultra Monster Series 81. Tyrant and 83. Dada, received remolded re-releases with less paint applications.
