Ultra Heroes EXPO 2023 New Year Festival IN Tokyo Dome City is the fifteenth New Year Festival exhibition event held at Tokyo Dome City. It was first announced during the end of performances at Ultra Heroes EXPO 2022 Summer Festival,[1] and was held from December 24, 2022 to January 4, 2023.[2]

Ultraman Battle Stage[]

An Ultraman Battle Stage featuring Ultraman Decker was performed four times per day.
Ultra Galaxy Fight Night[]
Ultra Galaxy Fight Special Night was an event held on December 27 promoting Ultra Galaxy Fight and Ultraman Regulos.[3] It featured the cast and director discussing the series, the special premiere of Ultraman Regulos: First Mission before its release in 2023, a stage show titled Howl, Cosmo Beast Fighters! written by Junichiro Ashiki, and a live performance of "fist of hope".[4] This event was not livestreamed, but a digest video of it was added to TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION on March 3, 2023.[5] A full archive of the event was added to IMAGINATION on July 4 and will be released on the Ultraman Regulos Blu-ray on November 22.[6][7]

Music Night[]

ULTRAMAN MUSIC LIVE was held on December 29.[8] It featured the opening and ending artists from Ultraman Taiga to Ultraman Decker performing Ultraman Series songs. The event was livestreamed, but no archive was made available.[9] It is the second MUSIC LIVE event, after the first was held at TSUBURAYA CONVENTION 2019.[10]
INTO THE STORY[]
A live stage version of INTO THE STORY: Ultraman Trigger -The Ultra-Ancient Treasure- was held on January 3.[11] While the main event was livestreamed, a talk show held by the cast afterwards was not, though TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION premium users who purchased a livestream ticket later gained access to an archive of it.[12]

Ultra Heroes EXPO 2023 New Year Festival: Live Stage & Special Talk Show was held on January 4, after the very last performance of the Battle Stage, and was livestreamed.[13] It featured the cast of Ultraman Decker speaking about the show.

Ultraman Department Store[]
The Ultraman Department Store is an expansive gift shop selling all kinds of Ultraman merchandise, including event-exclusive items.[14] Some items were also made available at Tsuburaya Store ONLINE.[15][16]
Campaigns[]
- Let's Make EXPO New Year Fes Together Vote! : Before the event was held, there was a vote to decide certain elements of the festival, such as the Ultras that would appear at photo booths.[17]
- In anticipation of the event, all of the New Year Festival Battle Stages from 2016 to 2020 were added to TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION for a limited time.[18]
- An event-exclusive Ultraman Decker Flash Type Ultra Dimension Card was given to all visitors.[19]
- Super Limited Ultra Shot : 50 premium TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION members and 30 standard members could win the chance to go to a special longer Ultra Shot booth. Ultraman Trigger (Glitter Trigger Eternity) wielding the Glitter Blade and Ultra Dual Sword appeared on December 30, while Ultraman Decker Dynamic Type holding the Dual Sword and Decker Shield Calibur appeared on December 31.[20]
