Ultimate Force Zero Special Stage is a stage show performed during Ultraman Zero 10th Anniversary: ANNIVERSARY THE LIVE , an event held at Ultra Heroes EXPO 2021 New Year Festival on December 27, 2020. The story acts as a bonus chapter to the novel Ultimate Force Zero ～Side Story～, and a novelization of it was included in the novel's physical release.

Synopsis

Taking place after Ultra Zero Fight and immediately before chapter 5 of Ultimate Force Zero ～Side Story～, Ultimate Force Zero try to come up with a new combination move.

Plot

The show opens with a recreation of the final battle of Ultra Zero Fight part 2 "Shining Zero", where Ultraman Belial managed to possess Ultraman Zero's body, becoming Ultraman Zero Darkness and taking down the members of the Ultimate Force Zero. From within Zero's spirit, he heard the voices of his comrades before transforming into Shining Zero and defeating Belial from within.

Glenfire, Mirror Knight, Jean-Bot and Jean-Nine have gathered before Zero has arrived. Glenfire mentions that Zero has still not gotten over becoming Zero Darkness and killing his friends, with Mirror Knight agreeing that it still hurts to remember himself. Jean-Bot states that he sometimes notices Zero thinking about something to himself and wonders if there is a way to cheer him up. Glenfire recalls an idea he has had since they first beat Belial together and whispers it to the other members, before Zero arrives and greets the team.

This idea turns out to be coming up with a new combination move together. After much discussion, they are suddenly attacked by two Darklopses and a Mecha Gomora who were left behind while the Beatstar Celestial Sphere was warping between universes. After defeating the two Darklopses, they come up with a technique and its name on the spot, Final Ultimate Force Zero, where the group pour their energy into Zero's Ultimate Aegis and fire an incredibly strong beam. They use it to definitively destroy Mecha Gomora.

After the battle, Zero wants to thank his friends, but ends up quietly saying it after they have all left. As he joins them, "The adventure has just begun" is displayed on-screen, concluding the show.

• Jean-Nine does not speak for most of the show other than reused audio from Ultra Zero Fight, as Miyu Irino was not involved in the event. At one point, he whispers into Jean-Bot's ear for him to say his thoughts. Jean-Bot's voice actor Hiroshi Kamiya was not at the event either and his voice actor is unknown. Yuki Ono's lines are also reused for Belial.
• Glenfire mentions that he was able to motivate Zero slightly after he was downtrodden by becoming Zero Darkness, which refers to their conversation in Ultraman Retsuden episode 104.
• The two appearing Darklops do not have clawed hands, giving them the appearance of Darklops Zero, but are presumably the mass-produced models.
• Zero mentions having already defeated Mecha Gomora in another universe, referring to Ultra Galaxy Legend Side Story: Ultraman Zero VS Darklops Zero.
• To clearly highlight that the stage show is related to Ultimate Force Zero ～Side Story～, said title is displayed at the start of the show, and it was even performed between chapters 4 and 5, when it takes place chronologically.
