The UDF (United Defense Federation) is an international organization established in the early 21st century, led by the United Nations. Its purpose is to respond to crises that pose threats to human survival and the Earth, such as frequent natural disasters and extraterrestrial invasions. As the superior organization to DASH, the UDF is committed to protecting the Earth and humanity from these threats.

Ultraman Max[]
In the early 21st century, due to the frequent occurrence of natural disasters on Earth and the invasion from outer space, humanity and the planet faced an existential crisis. To respond to this crisis, the United Nations led the establishment of UDF. In Japan, UDF forms an elite expert force called DASH by relying on elites from various fields around the world, who have undergone intellectual and physical training. In addition, the activities of UDF personnel are somewhat supra-legal, but they are conducted in accordance with the strict legislative regulations of the "UDF Law." The security personnel at their bases are very familiar with the details of regulations such as Article 102.
In the Scout Berserke Attack Plan at Delos People, UDF branches around the world were destroyed overnight. However, with the cooperation of Ultraman Max and DASH, the world was ultimately saved from destruction, and UDF began its reconstruction.
In 2076, the UDF implemented a space exploration program and built the first-ever galactic spacecraft for humans. The spacecraft later set off into space from Tokyo Bay.

The headquarters and European branch of UDF are located in Paris, with 12 other branches located in Copenhagen, Nairobi, Cairo, Moscow, Mumbai, Shanghai, Hawaii, Santiago, New York, Cairns, Antarctica, and Tokyo. Additionally, UDF's organizational plan includes several departments such as the Diplomatic Intelligence Bureau, Logistics Support Department, Command Headquarters, and Science Bureau.
Base Titan[]
Base Titan
Base Titan is located in Tokyo Bay and the sub-center of Tokyo, Japan. In addition to serving as the Japanese branch of UDF, it is also the most important base for the Japanese Defense Command Headquarters and the operational site for DASH.
The upper floor of the building houses the DASH command center, equipped with captain's rooms, personal rooms, charging rooms, meeting rooms, medical centers, monitoring rooms, investigation rooms, shooting training grounds, as well as storage facilities and maintenance equipment for various DASH models.
The front of the base features launch ports for DASH Bird 1 and Bird 2, while the upper section has storage and takeoff/landing facilities for DASH Mother. There are also secret underground passages for DASH Alfa and DASH Ducati. The base has a fortress-style design, reflecting its defensive nature.
Base Posidonia[]
Base Posidonia : A UDF base located in the southern Pacific, primarily active on Minos Island near the Mariana Islands. The main purpose of this base is to develop marine resources, conduct environmental surveys, and carry out projects related to crustal research. Additionally, the facility has a large storage warehouse capable of accommodating various machines.

- Ryugandake Frontline Base : A temporary frontline base set up by DASH and UDF to deal with the appearance of monsters.
- UDF Satellite Lab : A large experimental facility used by the UDF for tasks such as monster capture. Due to the enlargement of the Hophop used for investigation, the laboratory was damaged by the Hophop.
- UDF Hangar : A facility for storing UDF aircraft, located near Tokyo Bay. After the Base Titan was destroyed, this base became the temporary command center for DASH, from where the "Operation Max" was carried out.
- Space Station Tiga : A UDF space facility. Due to the placement of a massive reflector by the Alien Shamer, extensive interference waves rendered the space station unable to communicate with Earth.

Kenzo Tomioka

Kenzo Tomioka is the highest-ranking officer of the UDF Japan branch and previously served as the deputy commander of the United Nations peacekeeping forces and the chief of staff of the Self-Defense Forces.
He has a respected character and often conveys orders from the highest headquarters to DASH. In addition, he is also a talented fighter pilot.
Yukari Yoshinaga

Yukari Yoshinaga is the monster ecologist of DASH, a world-renowned expert in the field. She often provides detailed analysis and explanations of the behavior, movements, and species of monsters, and gives the DASH team members correct advice.

Date is the chief scientist at UDF Base Posidonia and also an inventor. He has long been devoted to developing various devices and machinery.

The UDF has various departments with different types of personnel, including security guards wearing khaki-colored uniforms and tactical vests, and support staff wearing gray work uniforms. The support staff belongs to the logistics support department and often operates at the front line to provide assistance to the DASH.

- Identification Card : This is a proof of identity for a UDF member, allowing them to engage in certain extra-legal activities according to UDF law.
- Metamorphoser : A special weapon developed by Dr. Date. It is described as a "magical new weapon that can restore everything to its original form," capable of emitting a beam from its parabolic emitter that can revert giant aliens to their original form.
Mecha[]
- UDF Fighter :The high-performance fighter jet used by the UDF Australia branch, is equipped with missile launchers but lacks variable mechanisms. It is used to attack the Eraga, which appears on the seafloor of the Southern Ocean.
- UDF Submarine : The small submarines deployed in the Base Posidonia DASH Bird 3 hangar are used for investigating the surrounding environment and underwater resources of the base.
- Cosmo Diva : The fuel-air explosive bomb, deployed at the UDF missile launch base, is the ultimate weapon of the UDF, with destructive power equivalent to nuclear weapons. It can instantly wipe out an entire island and is also used to defend the security of Japan and its surrounding areas.
- Earth Observation Satellite Guardian : The UDF is a surveillance and reconnaissance satellite deployed in Earth orbit. There are a total of 32 satellites deployed in airspace around the world. These satellites not only have the ability to monitor all areas of space and the Earth, but they can also automatically track objects entering the Earth.
- Dimension Force : The a defense system that creates an extradimensional barrier using the principle of phantoms. In times of crisis, it can envelop Base Titan and transport it to another dimension for protection.
- UDF Spacecraft : It is the first galactic space probe of humanity. In 2076, some members of UDF set sail from Tokyo Bay aboard this spaceship to explore the universe.
