History[]
Ultraman Dyna[]
With the discovery of a bronze disc at a construction site believed to date back to the 4th century AD, this item is thought to be associated with the legend of the Soldiers of Tsukuyo, said to predate the ancient burial era of the 4th century AD. According to the legend, the Soldiers of Tsukuyo worship a guardian deity named "Mozui," who resides in a lake known as the "Pond of Ice." Before participating in battles, Moonlight Soldiers would project their innermost fears onto stones and then toss these stones into the "Pond of Ice" for Mozui to consume. Through this ritual, the soldiers would no longer feel fear, becoming fearless.
The bronze disc was subsequently handed over to Ayano, the head researcher of the Miko Shrine Ancient History Research Institute, for further study at the site. However, during the lengthy research process into the night, Ayano discovered that this bronze disc was, in fact, a mirror. Its surface had been intentionally sealed, and its actual purpose was to reflect moonlight as a bronze mirror. Inscriptions in ancient script on the side of the bronze mirror read, "Do not touch. Mozui lies inside."
After deciphering the ancient text, Ayano realized that the bronze mirror was, in fact, an artifact that sealed Mozui within the "Pond of Ice." Through the warnings inscribed in the text, she came to understand that the Soldiers of Tsukuyo were initially fearless, but as time passed, their hearts became filled with a desire for destruction and slaughter. They ultimately decided to seal Mozui within the bronze mirror.
With the seal within the mirror now released, Ayano believed that Mozui's target was modern-day soldiers, especially Ryo, who had become a member of Super GUTS. Previously, Ayano and Ryo had planned to have dinner at a seafood restaurant. However, in order to protect Ryo, when he called the research facility, she immediately issued a warning and began secretly storing Mozui's research data on a hard drive.
Eventually, Mozui made an appearance and started chasing Ayano. She fled the scene with the hard drive, and Ryo rushed to her location after arriving at the research facility. However, upon seeing Mozui's appearance, Ryo was instantly frozen in fear. Subsequently, Mozui escaped. Ryo found Ayano, but she was severely injured and in critical condition.
Ayano was subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment, and Super GUTS initiated a comprehensive search for Mozui. They recreated the process of Mozui's attack on Ayano to identify its weaknesses. In the meantime, Ryo discovered the disc left behind by Ayano, which unveiled the true nature of Mozui.
Ultimately, when Ultraman Dyna successfully defeated Mozui, Ayano regained consciousness in the hospital and left a message for Ryo, saying, "When you come to see me, be sure to bring crabs."
