Trivia[]

  • Along with Ryusei Nakao, both veteran voice actors guest starred in episode 13 of Ultra Q during their time as child actors.
  • He uses the pseudonym Noboru Sōgetsu (蒼月 昇, Sōgetsu Noboru) when voice acting Ribbons Almark in Mobile Suit Gundam 00, but his real name was used for his credit as a narrator for the series. The reason for this is to prevent his popularity as voicing Amuro from diverting the anime's focus on the main characters.
  • As Shinji Ogawa (Chuck) and Hiromi Tsuru (Beth) have passed away, Furuya is the only surviving member of the Ultra Force's voice actors.
  • Despite the similarity of the voices, Toru Furuya stated that he did not reprise his voice role as Scott in Ultraman Festival 2016 Live Stage Part 2.[6]
