The Tokyo Meistersinger were a male choral group that sang themes to tokusatsu and anime series in the late 1960s. The group consisted of Masaru Itabashi, Osamu Itsuno and Teruo Mibayashi as Top Tenor; Shin Oikawa, Takao Oshima and Nagao Watanabe as Lead Tenor; Masanobu Shishikura, Yoshiaki Terasawa and Atsushi Matsuo as Baritone; and Shoji Shibata, Akiyoshi Sera and Hiroshi Toyama as Bass. Of the group, Itsuno, Watanabe, Terasawa and Shibata formed an additional smaller group called Vocal Shop .
