To The Ultra Star! Conclusion: Towards Peace and Victory is the fiftieth and last episode of The☆Ultraman.
Plot[]
The Great Sage is seemingly disintegrated in front of the Science Guard Party by Heller with Hikari still unable to merge with Ultraman Joneus to save him. The Science Guard, believing Hikari to be Ultraman Joneus is shocked that Hikari does not transform and treat is as conclusive evidence that he is not an Ultraman. Afterwards the team is chased by Heller's Soldiers and split up amongst the city.
Hikari and Gondo meet up at the Defense Tower and during a battle, Hikari manages to destroy the console controlling the tower but is thrown out of the tower by the blast. Before he hits the ground, he is hit by a light descending from the sky which reduces the force of his fall. He is unconscious and treated as dead by the Heller soldiers, who by this time have captured all of the other Science Guard team members. The light is revealed to be Ultraman Joneus, remerging with Hikari after fighting against the Heller fleet in orbit.
The team is brought to an outside barren plain where four of the members are tied up to yellow pillars, and Hikari, still believed to be dead, is dumped in front of the last pillar. A large kaiju, Makdatar, emerges from the ground to crush the team under his foot. Heller, who thinks that Ultraman Joneus is still in space, hopes to trap Ultraman Joneus by forcing him to appear to save the team by having his force point their cannons up to strike at him when he descends. Ultraman Joneus, now merged with Hikari, urges him to wake up. Just as the foot starts to descend to crush the team, Hikari transforms in front of the team, revealing his secret to them as he saves them from the beast.
The Heller force is in disarray as Joneus destroys the fleet from beneath them and two additional Ultraman join the fight. Ultraman Joneus manages to save his sister Amia from Heller, and Amia restores the Great Sage from the card that he had been transported into, and both of them teleport out of Heller City which is destroyed by a series of explosions as an army of Ultramen attack it. Heller himself is destroyed in the explosion.
After the battle, Hikari is finally able to meet Joneus in his human form as he separates himself permanently from Hikari. Joneus, Amia and the Science Guard Party return to earth and Joneus and Amia stay for a while to make sure that peace has returned to the earth. As Amia and Joneus prepare to leave, an emotional farewell is given. Mutsumi remarks as Amia gives her farewell that Amia is in love with Hikari and Amia responds to Mutsumi to tell her to be happy with a smile. Amia and Joneus turn into their Ultraman forms and depart from Earth, promising to return if danger strikes again.
The narrator ends with asking who will help defend Earth if danger returns, remarking that it could be you (the viewer) who would fight together with Ultraman.
