Tilsonite aluminium silicate alloy found on Planet Tilsonia, the home planet of the Cicada Humans. As a result of its durability, as well as its qualities of being able to transmit signals with ease, the Cicada Humans found great success in utilizing the alloy in the construction and operation of Garamon, their planetary invasion robot.

Two Tilsonite meteorites landed on Earth; one in the deserts of Libya, and the other in the Japanese countryside near Mount Mikuni. The latter was recovered by a group of elementary school students, calling it Garadama Garamon to be deployed arrived at the dam nearby Mt. Mikuni where it was manipulated to march its way towards the Tilsonite that was transported to Tokyo. Visiting the laboratory, Yuriko Edogawa and the other scientists covered the Tilsonite in a glass container made of aluminum silicate, blocking the signal and causing Garamon to deactivate midway. The firstAt some point later on, a lone Cicada Human operative went to Earth and stole the Tilsonite kept in the laboratory, using it alongside his Esperizer device to summon a few Garamon to attack Tokyo. In the ensuing fight between the alien and the police officers, the Tilsonite was recovered again and covered with aluminum foil, deactivating all Garamon at the same time. Garamon Strikes Back

A different kind of Tilsonite, known as Tilsonite 808 Alien Waiell as part of his invasion plan. The Tilsonite 808 was used to imprison Space Station V3 officer Ishiguro and for Waiell to impersonate his prisoner. When "Ishiguro" tried to escape to Hakone with his wife, Dan Moroboshi discovered a hidden Tilsonite, a computer device, and smashed it, causing the larger Tilsonite 808 to crack and release Ishiguro, while the impersonator was publicly exposed. Garagon was a robotic kaiju constructed of Tilsonite, keeping it completely unscathed by defense forces' missiles. Professor Watarai described Tilsonite as a space super alloy . Dancing Garagon The Gara Qs were later mentioned to be made of the same substance. Gara Q's Revenge
Ultraman Mebius: Anderes Horizont[]
From the notes left behind by Dr. Iwamura, the Shaplay Brooch used by Alien Shaplay to disguise themselves as humans are made of Tilsonite as one of its ingredients.
In the present day, Crew GUYS would encounter a group of Alien Shaplays slipping into Earth and taking on human forms while remaining secretive in their operation. By uncovering Iwamura's notes, they were able to pinpoint the location of all known Shaplays simply by tracking the Tilsonites within their badges. Ultraman Mebius: Anderes Horizont

- Main article: Tilsonite Sword
After the destruction of Garamon, the GGF Special Equipment Research Center recovered its fragments. A 20-meter-long rod forged from the material, known as the Tilsonite Spear, was used to conduct materials research. It was eventually given to the SKaRD as a railgun-fired kinetic energy penetrator projectile to destroy Gebalga's EMP-emitting organ. During the battle, Blazar pulled the Tilsonite Spear from Gebalga's body, with the surrounding electrical energy transforming it into a new weapon, the Tilsonite Sword. Let's Go, Blazar!
Nature[]
Despite its indestructible nature to human standards, the Tilsonite is surprisingly light when a chunk of it is easily held by an elementary student. Although similar in name, Tilsonite 808 is not the same kind of material as the Tilsonite from Planet Tilsonia, as the former is a metal, while the latter is an alloy.
The Tilsonite used by Cicada Human to create meteorites; one acted as a wave-emitting artificial brain and the other being a transport meant to deliver Garamon to Earth as a form of protection during atmospheric reentry. The smaller Tilsonite acted as a radio controller for the Cicada Humans to manipulate Garamon through Dellinger effect, and the only way to block its signal is to cover the object with aluminum based materials.
The Tilsonite 808 used by Alien Waiell acts as a projector to provide him with a human disguise. This worked in tandem through the smaller Tilsonite (a portable artificial brain) acting as a transmitter while the larger meteorite encased its human victim for the alien to impersonate. Like its Cicada Human counterpart, it is also durable, but can only be destroyed if the artificial brain was smashed to pieces.

Trivia[]
- The distinction of two different Tilsonites being unrelated to the other was exposed by Tsuburaya Productions in their (now-deleted) April Fools website page.
