Thunder Crash Caliber is an Assist Weapon created by Landmaster for Battles Gridman's use in Diaclone VS. Gridman.

Diaclone VS. Gridman[]
The Thunder Crash Caliber was manufactured by Landmaster in his Virtual Factory alongside the Battle Hanger through his analysis of the Grid Suit's combat data. Although the weapon has been completed, it lacked the Glowing Green Crystal from Europa that would serve as a power source to destroy Giganter. Hikari solved the problem by giving her quartz necklace, but since it was too small to be placed into the weapon, Landmaster had to synthesize it to the required size.
Near the end of the Diaclone Allied Forces' fight against Giganter, the Assist Weapon was finally completed to be launched towars Battles Gridman. The Hyper Agent wields it and slices Giganter, saving Earth from destruction. At the end of the battle, the Thunder Crash Caliber and the Battle Hanger were absorbed into Gridman to replenish his energy and restore to his true form.

- Lightning Battles Thunderbolt : A full-powered slash attack that can cut through dimensions.
- Separation: The Thunder Crash Caliber can split into two different weapons. The components were:
- Thunder Sword : The bladed part of the weapon.
- Thunder Shield : The sword's guard, it flips open into a shield.
Trivia[]
- Appearance-wise, the weapon is based on the Gridman Calibur, while its coloring is based on the Gridman Sword, the former's source of inspiration.
- On the other hand, its ability to split into two weapons is based on the Nendoroid Gridman DX ver. figure being capable of doing so despite the SSSS.GRIDMAN anime never demonstrated this ability.
- As part of the Battle Hanger's toy-exclusive form, the Thunder Crash Caliber can be placed on top of the aircraft for its Ride Attack Mode with Gridman standing above it.
