is the eighteenth episode ofSynopsis[]
The kaiju, Irugo, breaks through the ground and surfaces. The gases exhaled from its mouth are poisoning the human body.
SKaRD is ordered by CP to halt all investigation on Irugo and to standby until further orders. Emi thinks this could be the Third Wave, so she proceeds with her investigation involving the Test Facility 66. Trivia[]
- In this episode, the GGF Self-Propelled Laser Cannon shares a striking resemblance with the "Seagull-Fantop" mech from the XIG Team Seagull in Ultraman Gaia.
- Director Tomonobu Koshi confirmed that the model for the self-propelled laser cannon was indeed based on the Seagull-Fantop model, which underwent repainting and the addition of new equipment. This surprise appearance was arranged after Koshi learned in 2023 that a miniature version of the model still existed in the art department, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of Ultraman Gaia.[2]
- During the battle between Ultraman Blazar and Irugo in this episode, the theme song "IGNITION," from the Ultra Heroes EXPO 2023 Summer Festival, was featured.
- Following the air purification operation conducted by Earth Garon, Sharp Corporation, known for its plasma air purifiers, responded on social media with content related to this episode.[3]
- The Hindi title card of the episode uses the transliteration of the English title instead of the proper Hindi title (आतंक की मीनार) that was spoken in the episode preview.
