Trivia[]

'"`UNIQ--ref-00000002-QINU`"'

[1]

  • Due to the similarities between Goldras and Silvergon, the script for this episode originally included a line that said, "This monster looks a lot like Silvergon." However, this line was later removed.[2]
  • This episode was written by two scriptwriters. According to Masakazu Migita, he initially envisioned Tezuka as an older character, but since the actor playing the role, Sayaka Kamiya, was a middle school student, her interactions with the other children appeared somewhat immature. As a result, the character was changed to a middle school student.
    • According to Keiichi Hasegawa, the episode was primarily led by Migita, with Hasegawa providing some assistance, such as suggesting references to the 1980 American film Somewhere in Time and offering advice on certain details.
  • Shinichi Ooka stated that the most challenging part of this episode was the post-production, as it involved a significant amount of special effects, especially with the time-travel related scenes. Many of these elements didn’t fully adhere to logic, but the most important aspect was that the story had to provide the audience with a sense of a complete conclusion. Despite some theoretical flaws, this is a common issue in time paradox stories.
  • This episode was later featured in Ultraman Retsuden episode 47 "Fight Tiga! Super Power Monster Goldras!!"
