The Terrifying Saucer Creature Series! - The Girl Who Collects the Stardust of Demons is the forty-seventh episode of Ultraman Leo. It is the eighth episode in The Terrifying Saucer Creature Series story arc.
Synopsis[]
Mariko is collecting tellin-like shells to cheer up her mother who has undergone surgery. However, those shells are Terrina Q spread by Saucer Creature Black Terrina. A hospital surgeon being controlled by Terrina Q attacks Gen!
Plot[]
Black Directive summons Black Terrina to earth. It showers beautiful shells down as it arrives. Humans discover them lying about and collect them, unaware of their deadly origins. The shells, Terrina Q, launch onto the faces of their captors. A little girl named Mariko comes upon one of the victims and calls for help, but first takes the shell which had fallen onto the ground.
She finds more and gathers them, based on the legend that sakura shells bring luck. When she gets home, she finds a note saying her mom is out late working, but discovers she is in the hospital. She calls the Miyamas and tells Ayumi that her mom hurt herself at the factory. Mrs. Miyama heads to the hospital. Gen talks to her to keep her happy, and she shows him one of the sakura shells. He suspects nothing. The operation is a success. In the morning, Mariko gives her and Mrs. Miyama each one of the shells. She also gives one to Ayumi and the doctor.
That night, the saucer creature which was floating above the city, also begins to flash. He is attacked by the doctor, but when he knocks off the shell the man returns to normal. Gen borrows the shell for for research. Throughout the day he is continuously attacked, but when he takes the shells from people they return to normal. He deduces they are the cause, and a shell attacks him. He pulls it off his eye and breaks it, and it melts.
He calls the police and they work to recover the shells. Gen goes to get them from Mariko, but she refuses to give them to him. Terrina attacks, and Gen runs off to transform. The two battle, while Mariko and Aymi's shells start shining. Partially blinded, Leo is very nearly defeated. Eventually Leo brutally defeats it, and nearly collapses before flying off. Mariko and Ayumi are able to throw away their shells.
