Trivia[]
- According to a 2017 interview with the Japanese production staff, this episode had the most significant changes made to the script by the Japanese writers.[1]
- Noboru Aikawa, one of the writers, noted that Chiaki J. Konaka frequently mentioned "UFO" at the time. As a result, Aikawa initially crafted a story about an alien mummy, which revolved around a preserved alien mummy being taken by a spaceship.
- In the script proposed by Chiaki J. Konaka, the story depicted a UFO captured by Earth that encounters another UFO coming to retrieve the alien mummy. Ultimately, the two UFOs combine to become a UFO creature.
- This episode is also called "Storage 47" by other countries broadcasting the TV show.
