Trivia[]
- This episode uses Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 as its central theme, incorporating the existence of these two probes into the narrative's core. It emphasizes humanity's capacity to dream of the future.
- The episode gets its name from a rock that is seen in the episode.
- According to an interview with the episode's writer, Ai Ota, in 2000:[1]
- Based on the story of this episode, Ota mentioned that when she first encountered the phrase "Radical Destruction Bringer," she found it to be a very terrifying term upon deeper reflection. In such a world shrouded in fear, the children living in it would undoubtedly have a different mental state.
- Although the children would undoubtedly support Ultraman Gaia or Ultraman Agul, their admiration is not simply because these heroes are cool. The children live in an extremely frightening world, and their hearts may harbor certain wishes or hopes. This was the level on which Ota aimed to explore in the story.
