"If fighting is so painful, you can throw away that light. You know it wasn't you who slew Izac. We humans, who made the Artes Tigers extinct, slew him. Gamu. You once said that humans could change. I want to believe that."
"But, Gamu, unless man shoulders the pain of their errors from the past, they cannot truly change."
"Fujimiya..."
"We won't forget Izac."
- ―Gamu Takayama and Hiroya Fujimiya after Izac's defeat
Home Media[]
- Ultraman Gaia Volume 11 features episodes 41-44.
Trivia[]
- The episode gets its name because of Izac's eye color.
- Agul in this episode follows a pattern which also starts in episodes 45, 48 and in the OVA: Gaia Again in which he comes in first to deal with the monster but gets beaten.
- According to this episode's writer, Ai Ota, this story was about Gamu and Fujimiya coming closer to each other through painful events. In this episode, Agul is portrayed very gently, and Gaia does not kill Izac out of sheer intent. This kind of pain is something only Ultramen can understand. Through experiencing such pain, Gamu and Fujimiya develop a relationship where they can empathize with each other. Ōta expressed that she wanted Fujimiya to be the one to save the disheartened Gamu.
