The Phantom Grim Reaper (幻の死神, Maboroshi no Shinigami) is the seventeenth episode of Operation: Mystery.

Synopsis[]

As night falls over the Seto Inland Sea, enveloping it in darkness, a sightseeing boat glides through the tranquil waters. Suddenly, the surface of the sea ahead froths with countless white hands, beckoning to the passengers on board. Following this eerie phenomenon, a gigantic female ghostly figure appears.

Meanwhile, in Tokyo, there is an incident where the necklace of international actress Barbara, who is visiting Japan, is stolen by mysterious white hands. Suspecting a connection between the incidents, SRI initiates an investigation.
