The Mystic Power is the eigthth episode of Ultraman Z.

Synopsis

One day mysterious beautiful sisters arrived from the far corners of the universe! The mysterious monster cells in their possession have created a Combined Monster known as Tri-King! Furthermore, Kaburagi strengthens this formation further by causing it to evolve into a Super Combined Monster known as Five King! There is no choice but to make use of a new kind of power in order to face this indomitable threat! That's right, harnessing the powers of a mysterious transforming light!

Plot

Members of the Monster Research Center investigate the landing site of an alien saucer. Kaburagi visits the Alien Pitt sisters from said saucer, who provide him with the genetic material of Golza, Melba and Super C.O.V.. Instead of paying them, Kaburagi brainwashes the pair into getting him two other samples.

Meanwhile, STORAGE members are in a combat training, with Yoko emerging as the victor while Hebikura quickly recognizes Kaburagi's worker ID, figuring out his identity as Celebro. After harvesting the Kaiju Medals, Kaburagi tests their powers as Tri-King in Hirami district. Yuka happens to be there to witness the fight between the fusion monster and the SAA units, and picked up Haruki's Z Riser when the fight accidentally throw hims out of Sevenger. While the older sister alien invades a wealthy businessman's house, her younger sister stuns both Yoko and Yuka after mistaking them as Ultraman Z's human hosts, seeing them with the Z Riser, and has them captured.

Haruki continues to search for the two while Hebikura decides to take matters into his own hands by returning Kaburagi's ID to the Monster Research Center, and at the same time discovering his notes on Ultra Medal manufacturing plans. With Reicubas and Gan-Q's crystallized cells, Kaburagi processes their respective Medals and transforms into Tri-King again. After freeing Yoko and Yuka, Haruki reclaims his Z Riser to face the monsters while the two girls face the alien sisters (later revealed to be Alien Pitt). Kaburagi uses the remaining two Medals and Tri-King becomes Five King to overpower Ultraman Z. Hebikura gives him the three Ultra Medals he collected before and Z assumed Gamma Future, using its powers over illusions to weaken Five King before he freezes it and dives into the frozen monster, destroying it from the inside with the Zestium Beam.

Kaburagi returns to the Monster Research Center, but Juggler ambushes him. Shinya gets a Valis Raider unit to distract Juggler and get away, but leaves behind his Kaiju Medals. The next day, Haruki and Yoko drags an unwilling Yuka into their training drills again.

This time Zero teaches Z about Ultramen who originally hail from other dimensions including Tiga, Dyna and Gaia. Zero also mentions other Ultramen he has met in the past like Cosmos, Nexus, Max, Mebius, Ginga, and Victory. Still, Z pleads Zero to become his master but Zero refuses.

• When Hebikura/Juggler interacts with Ultraman Dyna Medal and says "Show me how a warrior fights", it is a reference to Ultraman Orb THE ORIGIN SAGA, where Shin Asuka/Dyna said to Juggler "That's not how a warrior of light should fight". ^{Wrap ~Dazzling~}
