When one of Kenichi’s classmates, a young boy named Arihito, plays the ocarina (a keepsake from his grandfather), a monster Okariyan is intrigued by the sound and emerges from beneath Arihito’s hometown. He explains what happened to Kotaro, who was patrolling nearby, but he finds no signs that anything is wrong. The next day, Arihito continues to practice at Kenichi’s house. Okariyan reappears, once again attracted to the sound of the ocarina.
