Trivia[]

- The writer for this episode, Shinsuke Onishi, came to Tsuburaya Productions through the introduction of the episode's director, Kyota Kawasaki, and began working on the script. Onishi initially hoped to depict the GUTS team's camaraderie and teamwork, and he wanted to have Captain Iruma step out of the base to showcase her personality.[2]
- Regarding Tatsumura's character, Onishi mentioned that he thought it would be interesting to introduce a villain with a distinct personality. Initially, the plan for this episode was to continue the story from episode 28, "One Vanishing Moment." In the early stages of the script, Tatsumura also made a brief appearance in "One Vanishing Moment."
- Dethmon was originally intended to be created using CGI, but Hiromasa Mitsudome suggested using practical props instead. While Kawasaki was still asking, "Is this okay?" the design team had already started carving with foam.
