The Greatest Invasion (最大の侵略, Saidai no Shinryaku) is the fifty-ninth episode of Ultraman Cosmos.

Plot[]

At last, Chaos Header begins a full-on assault. Chaos Ultraman returns from the depths of hell. EYES resists, but has no hope against such overwhelming power. The days of peace come to an end as the desperate battle to survive begins!

Trivia[]

According to producer Hiroyasu Shibuya, during the filming of this episode, Taiyo Sugiura celebrated his second birthday since joining the series. The occasion was marked by an event at Ultraman Land, where he received birthday wishes from an audience of 20,000. Meanwhile, the production team was filming the EYES battle against Chaos Ultraman. After returning to the set, Daisuke Shima jokingly remarked, "How nice it is to hear 'Happy Birthday!' while we're fighting Chaos Ultraman!"^[1]
The episode's title, The Greatest Invasion, was inspired by "The Biggest Invasion in History: Part 1" and Part 2 from Episodes 48 and 49 of Ultraseven. This serves as a tribute by planners Kazuho Mitsuta and Takeshi Yagi.
