The Great Sinking! Twilight of the Japanese Archipelago is the second episode of Ultraman Leo.
Synopsis[]
Frequent attacks by the twin monsters bring about catastrophic damage to the city. In order to defeat the monster and stop Alien Magma's plans, it is necessary to learn a new technique. Gen trains hard and creates the Tornado Kick, a spin kick, while worrying about Momoko who has been injured and hospitalized.
Plot[]
When we last left Ultraman Leo, he was engaged in another struggle between the Giras Brothers as a tidal wave wiped out Tokyo. Once more, Alien Magma descends from the sky to pummel Leo just as his color timer begins flashing. Unable to transform into Ultraseven, Moroboshi exhausts himself by using his extraordinary hypnotic abilities to distract the monsters long enough for Leo to gain the upper hand. After severing the horns from the heads of the Giras twins, they all retreat.
During the flood of Tokyo, Gen's friend, Momoko is seriously wounded. Not knowing if she'll live or not, Dan pushes Gen to hone his skills in his human form, thereby merging with his Leo persona to become stronger than before. Meanwhile, the two Giras Kaiju and their master, Alien Magma mount a counterattack.
