Trivia[]

  • Keiichi Hasegawa noted that this episode serves as the conclusion of the "Mezard" arc. Initially, he considered having Primal Mezard appear in various locations around the world, triggering a global panic, but due to the complexities of filming such scenes, the story was ultimately focused on KCB.[1]

  • Inamori’s appearance was meant to continue the storyline from the previous episode, and Chiaki J. Konaka also suggested adding some plot elements related to the Radical Destruction Bringer.
  • The special ammunition fired by Kajio in this episode was cut due to time constraints. This special ammunition, called "Parcel (パーセル, Pāseru)", was actually designed to suppress the enemy’s abilities.
  • Masaki Harada mentioned that since Inamori’s character is already deceased in the series, her image was intentionally altered to appear more feminine. A scene was arranged in which she plays the piano, adding a more fantastical atmosphere to the overall setting.
  • At the end Fujimiya meets up with the same girl he saved in episode 20.
    • Yuki’s cameo was arranged because Harada wanted to create a moment where Fujimiya could be saved, which he felt was essential to include somewhere in the storyline.
