The Dawn of Truth is the eighth episode of the first season of ULTRAMAN. It adapts chapters 26 to 30 of the manga.
Synopsis[]
At Rena's concert, an alien calling himself Adad demands a confrontation with Ultraman. Things go from bad to worse when Bemular joins the fray.

Anime and Manga Differences[]
- Bemular comes in much later during the fight. In the manga, Adad deploys his "mines" after Bemular appears. He also deploys them from a thrown container instead of having them come down from the overhead lights.
- Adad's knife does not break. Originally, one of them does break when Moroboshi slices it, and Adad switches to a staff instead.
- The lights and ceiling falling are new additions to the anime. In the manga, Shinjiro engages Bemular in combat instead. Also, Adad does not give Shinjiro the ultimatum to save either Rena or the audience.
- Adad kills Igaru almost immediately. In the manga, he first makes his lengthy explanation to the crowd who on Igaru really is.
- Igaru does not show his true form.
- The show staff being revealed to be Alien Pitt, who was contacted to replace Alien Bris, does not happen in the manga. Instead, in the manga, the three murderers contacted Adad as their next killer.
- Adad's "bombs" explode into confetti, while in the manga they are used as projectors.
- The whole flashback of Igaru's life from chapter 30 of the manga is not adapted.
