Teruo Sera is a character who appeared in Ultraman 80. He is a member of UNDA's advertising class.
Personality[]
Sera is known for his humorous and friendly personality, often interacting with others in a comical and exaggerated manner. Despite being a member of the publicity department, he frequently visits the command room and has established good relationships with the other team members, becoming one of their closest friends.
He often gives enthusiastic speeches to boost morale and maintains a positive attitude at all times, although he can sometimes feel uneasy about minor incidents.

Sera and Tsuchiyama as children
During his middle school years, Sera was called "Cera-cho" or "Debu-cho" due to his robust appearance, and was bullied by his classmates as a result. However, he greatly respected his senior classmate Tsuchiyama, who often protected him, and the two of them shared many memorable experiences together, including swimming, running marathons, and climbing trees.
As an adult, he joined UNDA and became a member of the public relations team.
Ultraman 80[]
When Teruo first appeared in the series, he was returning to Earth from a six-month cruise mission on UGM's spacecraft. During this mission, he and the other crew members discovered a wandering little monster named Myu in the Monster Graveyard. After that, Sera often appeared in UGM's command room in the series and frequently went with the team to the scene of monster sightings for coverage. During one incident, Tsuchiya went to the African desert to report on an event with photographer Aoki when they were both killed in an attack by the Alien Zatan. The invaders disguised themselves as the two and planned to sabotage UGM's actions, secretly causing destruction in many places.
Sera was furious with UGM for suspecting the invaders and always believed in Tsuchiya's innocence. However, when the Alien Zatan's plot was uncovered, they abducted Sera and demanded that he open the door to the Galaxy Space Exploration Center. But with Takeshi's surprise attack from behind, Sera was given the chance to seize the Alien Zatan's gun and ultimately shot the Alien Zatan disguised as Tsuchiya.
After Zatan Silver was defeated by Ultraman 80, Sera remembered the memories he had with Tsuchiya and cried sadly.Lost Friend in the Desert
After the final battle, he and Yuriko created an intelligent robot with the same appearance as Emi Jono, who had died in the line of duty. At the farewell party, he learned that Takeshi and Ryoko were the true identities of Ultraman. Later, he and the rest of the UGM team bid farewell to the two who left Earth. Ah!
