Tatakae! Ultraman

Tatakae! Ultraman was an unused opening theme for the Return of Ultraman TV series, dismissed in favor of the more light-hearted Kaettekita Ultraman. It has however been used in future projects.

• A version of the track entitled Kaettekita zo Ultraman! was recored by Ichiro Mizuki in 1990 for a collection of Tsuburaya Productions music. The lyrics remain the same as the original, but the instrumental is completely different.
• Used and featured as a topic of discussion in Big Set! Ultra Hero Theme Song & Famous Scene Collection!: Strongest Battle Chapter.
• Used for the opening sequence of Tsuburaya's Family Theatre feature, Ultra Information Bureau.
• An instrumental was used in episode 5 of Ultraman Retsuden.
• Used in episode 13 of New Ultraman Retsuden.
• Used as the ending of the 2015 Japan Animator Expo short film The・Ultraman: Jackal vs. Ultraman.
• Used during the final battle scene of 6 Ultra Brothers THE LIVE -Featuring Zoffy-.
