Takeshi Yagi
is a Japanese movie/series director, producer, and a special skill director.Biography[]
Yagi joined Tsuburaya Productions in the 1990s after film research at Hayata University.
In 1996, Yagi directed a TV series for the first time as a director of Moon Spiral. He's also a sub-director of Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Dyna, and Ultraman Gaia.
He has since gone on to produce most of the Ultraman Series at Tsuburaya Productions, including 2004's Ultra Q: Dark Fantasy as general director. Series producer of Ultraman Max in 2005, and general director again for Ultraseven X in 2007.
Yagi quit Tsuburaya Productions in January 2008 and started working as a freelance director/producer.
