Takeshi Todo (藤堂 武史 Todō Takeshi) was the (former) secondary antagonist turned supporting character of Denkou Choujin Gridman.

Personality

Takeshi is an introverted and bitter soul as result of being neglected by his parents and in lesser extent, his friends. Because of his mistreatments and inability to properly interact with others, Takeshi was often easily swayed by Khan Digifier's suggestions and able to hold grudges even for trivial problems. Fortunately, he eventually was able to find closure over his sad background after being saved by Ippei when Khan unleashed a full assault on the Human World.

In Denkou Choujin Gridman: boys invent great hero, Takeshi is implied to have become a much better person than he used to be, wholeheartedly accepted Gridman Sigma's proposal to become his host and partner to face another threat.

History

Denkou Choujin Gridman

A classmate of Naoto Sho and his friends, Takeshi always left out and felt alone, finding solace in making monsters on a PC Game known as "The Castle of Torture". He eventually came under the control of Khan Digifier and began creating monsters based on the grudges he made in his daily life. Another one of motivations is his affection for Yuka, one of Naoto's friends, and thus has sent some of his monsters after her. After he was freed from Khan's influence, Takeshi supported Naoto in helping Gridman defeat Khan Digifier.

Denkou Choujin Gridman: boys invent great hero

Several years after Khan Digifier's demise, duplicates of his past monsters appeared and terrorized the city. As an adult, Takeshi entered a dump area filled with computer monitors and a strange light shines on him, granting him an Acceptor. He then transformed into Gridman Sigma to fight against the monsters.

Powers and Weapons

  • Enhanced Intelligence: Takeshi seemed to be incredibly smart in computer engineering.
  • Acceptor: Using the Acceptor, Takeshi can transform into Gridman Sigma.
