Photos of Onoda and Yukina in the past
Five years ago, Onoda teamed up with a newly debuted female journalist, Yukina Hazuki, and the two became close friends as a result. They often went to the bar to drink together.
As Onoda believed that his main area of responsibility was reporting on social issues, he was different from Yukina who was enthusiastic about tracking mysterious creatures or reporting on topics beyond common sense. Therefore, when the magazine proposed a special report on tracking the Vampire beliefs that emerged due to a strange disease in South America, Onoda handed over the task to Yukina.
However, Yukina never returned after this business trip, causing Onoda to feel quite guilty about her disappearance.
Ultraman Tiga[]
While drinking at the bar, he met the vice captain of GUTS, Munakata. At first, he had doubts about the abilities of GUTS and wanted to obtain information about them from Munakata, but was politely declined.
When GUTS was handling Sealizar, who had washed up on the beach, Onoda acted as a frontline reporter, tracking the team's actions and witnessing the battle between Tiga and Sealizar. Afterward, he became friends with Munakata and changed his previous distrustful views of GUTS, beginning to write articles about their exploits. The Day the Monster Came Out
Onoda's brief reunion with Yukina
After the legend of vampires lurking in the city spread, he conducted his own investigation and discovered that the mastermind behind the vampire cult was the missing Yukina. Therefore, he decided to take independent action in the hope of rescuing her from the curse of the vampires.
When Yukina was attacked by GUTS, he rushed out in time to rescue her, successfully influencing the other side and temporarily restoring Yukina's original consciousness. However, Yukina resolutely opened the curtain and bid farewell to him as she ended her own life.
Afterward, he, filled with anger, assisted by Munakata, helped Tiga to successfully eliminate Kyuranos, thus avenging Yukina.Vampire City
