TSUBURAYA CONVENTION, often shortened to TSUBUCON ,[1][2][3] is a biennial convention where Tsuburaya Productions holds events that unveil new projects and promote, discuss and celebrate the Ultraman Series and their other works, featuring large selections of special guests including cast members, staff and musicians. Advertised as the biggest festival for all fans of Tsuburaya's works,[4][5] it is held in November or December at both the Tokyo Dome City Hall and Tokyo Dome Hotel, along with exhibitions and a store at the Tokyo Dome City Prism Hall.
In 2021, the convention was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic,[6] but was replaced by a free livestream event.[7] On the same day as the cancelation, it was announced that archives of some of the 2019 events would be added to TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION.[8]
