Star Wolf Tsuburaya Productions. The series aired on Nippon Television from April 2 to September 24, 1978, every Sunday from 19:00 to 19:30 PM.
is a tokusatsu series based on Edmond Hamilton's novel of the same name, created byFour episodes of the series were dubbed in English and turned into two hour-long films by Sandy Frank, titled Fugitive Alien and Star Force: Fugitive Alien II in 1986 and 1987 respectively. Similarly, films using footage from Mighty Jack and Army of the Apes were also released by Sandy Frank, and all four films aired as Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes in 1988.
Synopsis[]
Ken, a member of the marauding group from the planet Varna known as the Wolf Attackers, and particularly feared for his combat prowess as "Star Wolf," becomes a hunted traitor after shooting his comrades to save a mother and child.
Ken encounters Captain Jou of the Space Command, who takes on various dangerous jobs and missions. Joining forces with them, Ken embarks on numerous missions in space.

In 1994, all 24 episodes were released on a LaserDisc set by Bandai Visual. Toei Video later released the series as two DVD box sets on November 1, 2013 and January 10, 2014,[2][3][4][5] as well as 6 separate volumes from January 10.
