Star Cluster Council (星団評議会, Seidan Hyōgi-kai) is the tenth episode of the first season of ULTRAMAN. It adapts chapters 36 to 40 of the manga.

Synopsis[]

Seiji dreams of a day when aliens are accepted openly on Earth. Hoping to fight for this cause, he pleads with the SSSP to bring him on board.

Anime and Manga Differences[]

  • The conversation between Adad and Bemular on the rooftop starts differently. In the manga, Adad manages to track Bemular down instead of inviting him.
  • The conversation between Rena and Shinjiro is slightly altered. She also appears undisguised in the manga.
  • Originally, the police warn Shinjro and Dan not to go down into the sewers. Instead, in the anime, they are saluted for their service.
  • The monster encountered in the subway is changed.
  • A minor scene with Red and Jack peeking at Seiji before he leaves to the subway is removed.
  • The scene with Seiji getting interviewed is slightly altered. Originally, Edo, Ide and Moroboshi discuss his background before Ide goes in to interrogate. The interview between Seiji and Ide is also extended.
  • In the manga, Shinjiro and Shin have a meal while having their conversation at home.
  • Jack and Adad are already at least acquainted. In the manga, Adad has to introduce himself.
  • Adad seems to have better table manners in the manga.
  • Seiji talks to Yapool over a communicator instead of having it face-to-face.
  • Scenes with Endo and Kurata investigating the barcoded bodies are removed, as that subplot is not adapted by the anime.
