Spica was a feline alien and practitioner of the Cosmo Beast Style.[3][4]
Conception[]
Etymology[]
As with most of the Cosmo Beast Fighters, Spica is named after the star Spica, the brightest star in the Virgo constellation, which in turn is derived from the Latin term spīca virginis meaning ‘the virgin's ear of grain’ or the ‘Virgin's Spike’.
Design[]
As with all Cosmo Beast Fighters, Spica is designed by Shoma Muto.[5]
Personality[]
Not much to be known about her, other than the fact that she cares for Ultraman Regulos.[3][4]
History[]
Ultraman Regulos[]
One of the Cosmo Beast Fighters on Planet D60, Spica was the first to find Ultraman Regulos, who crash landed on the planet, close to death. She saved his life, finding out he was an amnesiac, and brought him to Alude, who allowed him to train with the other Cosmo Beast Fighters.
When the Alien Magmas attacked planet D60, Spica and the others tried to fight them off, but Alude was injured by Volcan's poison in the battle. Knowing that they would return, the Cosmo Beast Fighters trained in preparation for a rematch. She noticed that Regulos had been getting stronger and eventually found out that he was training under Tubahn.
The Alien Magma attacked again, and Spica was hurt by one of their ships' gunfire, causing Regulos to get angry, making him lose to the Magma siblings Lava and Yurub until Tubahn and Phoros arrived to save them. They went to the tower where Alude was hiding, only to see Albeo and Pharood killed by Volcan. Regulos and Spica were ordered by the remaining two instructors to get to to Alude, but once they arrived, they found him dead with Dias dying next to him. Once again enraged, Regulos attacked Volcan, who launched a beam attack at Regulos to finish him off. Phoros and Tubahn got in the way to protect their student, and passed their Cosmo Beasts to him before dying. Regulos managed to connect with the two Cosmo Beasts, and defeated both Volcan and the Baraba he summoned.
In the aftermath, only Regulos and Spica were left. All of a sudden, Dias revealed himself to be still alive and killed Spica, who passed her power to Regulos. Ultraman Regulos
