Sotaro Hayashi is a Japanese screenwriter. He has served as a writer and series compositor for the Ultraman Series during the Heisei and New Generation eras.
Career[]
While studying at Nikkatsu Art Academy, Hayashi worked as a lighting assistant in Sweet Home, directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. After graduation, he studied screenwriting with Fumio Ishimori. In 1992, he made his debut as a screenwriter with Because of Love.
From 2001 to the present, Hayashi has been frequently involved as a screenwriter for the Ultraman Series.
