On their day off, Kotaro went cycling in Okutama with his cousin Shinichi and Saori. There, Kotaro encountered a strange young man. The hungry young man was holding a knife, ready to attack him, but Kotaro managed to restrain him in time and offered him a sandwich. After filling his stomach, the young man expressed gratitude in a rough but sincere tone and left the mountains.

The three of them set off again, but the road ahead was covered with dense blue fog, making it impassable. Fortunately, they encountered the passing mail carrier Kubo, who led them safely through. However, at that moment, it started to hail. Kubo, hit by the hailstones, slipped and fell into the valley. Fortunately, Kubo's son, Sumio, was waiting at the bottom of the valley. Kubo suffered only minor injuries, but Kotaro suggested he go home and rest. However, Kubo insisted on delivering the mail as soon as possible. Kotaro decided to accompany Kubo to the delivery point in the mountains. At the construction site in the mountains, the workers were eagerly awaiting the mail. Their expressions were full of anticipation for the arrival of the letters, and seeing this, Kubo and Kotaro were also filled with vitality.

However, the last letter had no recipient. His name was Katsuji Ishida... the young man Kotaro had encountered earlier, rumored to have been fired due to excessive gambling and drinking. After parting ways with Kotaro and preparing to return after completing the delivery, Kubo encountered Ishida on the mountain road home. Ishida demanded Kubo deliver cash to him by mail. Kubo tried to persuade Ishida. Just then, they were suddenly confronted by Eisler, a frozen monster covered in pale frost. The two found themselves in a panic!

At that moment, while Kotaro and others were enjoying fishing, they witnessed Eisler's appearance. ZAT received an emergency call from Kotaro and immediately mobilized. Then, Eisler reappeared from the mountains again. Eisler approached Kotaro and Sumio. The two managed to escape into a cave, where they encountered Kubo, Ishida, and others again. However, outside the cave, Eisler continued to roam. The temperature inside the cave kept dropping. Ishida attempted to ignite the mail to keep warm, causing all the letters to scatter on the ground. Kotaro stopped Ishida from lighting the fire and told him, "Your letter is in there too." Ishida read his letter, recalling his family back home. He wiped his eyes, turned away, and couldn't help but choke up.

After Ishida had turned over a new leaf, Kotaro devised a plan to escape. They planned to hide inside a snowman doll to evade Eisler. Sure enough, the plan succeeded. When ZAT learned that Kotaro and the others were safe, they immediately launched an attack, and Ultraman Taro defeated the monster.

However, Kubo expressed concern about the delayed mail delivery. At that moment, the mailbag suddenly floated up and drifted into Taro's hands. Taro offered to deliver the mail on their behalf. Ishida quickly wrote a letter home. Letters from all over Japan fell like snowflakes. Taro's letters were distributed nationwide.

A few days later, the Shiratori family received a letter from Sumio. "I also want to work in postal delivery when I grow up. But unlike Dad, I want to deliver mail to the universe." That night, Kotaro wrote a reply: "Sumio, your dream is remarkable. Someday, there will be a postal rocket flying into the sky".

In the vast universe, a red postal rocket adorned with a postal emblem soared into the distance. Of course, it was piloted by Sumio. Taro flew alongside it, conveying our wishes to the farthest reaches of the Land of Light's universe.
