Snark (スナーク, Sunāku) was a mollusk creature from Ultraman Taiga Novel: Tregear's Story／Blue Shadow.

History

Ultraman Taiga Novel: Tregear's Story／Blue Shadow

Created by Ultraman Tregear, Snark was a Namegon-like creature that he created from a leftover primordial soup on Planet Tutuola as his companion after his self-exile from the Land of Light. Its name came from a word in the Land of Light that means "Little One" (小さきもの, Chiisaki mono)="Chibisuke" (チビスケ, Little runts). Over time, Snark grew bigger by consuming the trash deposits on Planet Tutuola, until it reached the height of several hundred meters and began threatening the planet's citizen. As Tregear fail to stop his own monster through brute force, he was forced to use a genetic failure in Snark's creation to devolve the creature until it reached the form of a wilting flower.
