The Tower on Planet Ultra has been destroyed by someone and the Ultra Key has been stolen. Planet Ultra goes off its orbit starts on a collision course for earth. The Ultra Brothers insist that Leo's younger brother Astra has stolen the key. Astra and the Ultra Brothers start battling after landing on Earth.
Plot[]
An unknown person steals the Ultra Key. The Ultra Brothers, Ultraman, Ultraman Jack, and Ultraman Ace, set out in pursuit, suspecting Alien Babarue to be the one behind it, but are confronted by Astra! Astra defeats Ultraman and flees.
The key's loss causes the Land of Light to go off orbit, setting it on a collision course for Earth. This causes major interferences in MAC's systems, making communication impossible. With the systems down, MAC is unable to find out what the problem is, but on the blurry screens, Dan sees an Ultra Sign.
Dan takes Gen aside and tells him that the sign meant the Ultra Key has been stolen from the Ultra Planet, and that Astra is coming. Gen is excited at the news that his brother is approaching Earth, but Dan tells him that Astra was the one who stole the key, and that the Ultra Brothers are pursuing him! For Leo to prove himself, he has to be the one to take the key from his brother.
Meanwhile, the MAC backup computer discovers the Ultra Planet is approaching Earth fast. Soon, it begins to affect the Earth's atmosphere, causing tsunamis, strong winds, and other abnormalities. Astra nears Earth, and Dan is told there is no time: the key must be retrieved to prevent earth's doom.
Despite Gen's protests, Dan orders him to attack. Astra arrives. Then the Ultra Brothers arrive and attack him, with Dan using his Ultra Psychokinesis to restrain Astra. Astra, calling out "Leo-niisan," causes Gen's brotherly instincts to arise, and he attacks Dan! Eventually, he manages to knock Dan out, and transforms to attack the Ultra Brothers and defend Astra.

Trivia[]
- In this episode, some of the shots depicting the Land of Light were taken from stock footage from the previous series Ultraman Taro. Additionally, the scenes of the earth's surface collapsing were reused from materials from Ultraman Leo episode 1, Ultraseven, Return of Ultraman, Fireman, Ultraman Taro, and Army of the Apes.
- The filming locations for this episode and the next were around the Fuji TV headquarters in Odaiba.
- Father of Ultra makes a flashback appearance in this episode, showing a new shot of him using the Ultra Key. This footage was newly filmed, and there is also a photograph featuring Father of Ultra alongside the other four Ultras.
- In this episode, the line "We're going to kill Astra" spoken by the Ultra Brothers became one of the most shocking and controversial quotes in the series, especially considering that the word "kill" is quite jarring coming from characters viewed as heroes. The directness of this line made it stand out, and by the 21st century, it quickly turned into an internet meme.[1]
- In fact, the episode's writer, Bunzo Wakatsuki, is known for creating some of the most iconic lines in the Ultraman series. For instance, in Ultraseven episode 26 "Super Weapon R-1," he wrote the poignant line "That's a sad marathon that you keep running as you cough up blood."
- Although the dialogue in this episode became a meme due to its departure from traditional heroic portrayals, it still effectively conveys the painful decisions and conflicts within the story.
